Delaware Township 

The DAR, in conjunction with the Veterans Services of Delaware Co, has identified all county Revolutionary veteran burials and has ordered Betsy Ross flags for placement in each township cemetery.   A letter will be sent to all Township Trustees.  Thank you for this great effort.

Dublin Historical Society 

• Dublin Historical Society’s Second Sunday Speaker Series programs which are sponsored by the Dublin Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library.  March 8ths program begins at 3:00 and is titled, Tracing the History of Medicine in Dublin, Ohio: An examination of five community physicians and the common health concerns, illnesses, and health crisis Dublin faced from its founding until the mid-1960’s, by Dr Mark Stechschulte MD

The Delaware County Memory Project (a digital guide to Delaware County’s past)  is an ongoing collaborative project between libraries, governmental offices, local historical societies and other local archives throughout Delaware County.  The project is administrated by Your Community Library in Sunbury.  It is sponsored in part by the Community Library Foundation and Delaware County Foundation.  The goals are: 1)to make local material accessible that support informational needs of historical and genealogy societies everywhere 2)to support the endeavors of students and educators studying Delaware County and its Townships 3)to preserve aging materials that document the settlement and development of Delaware County.
