Delaware County Historical Society Invites the Community
to the Stratford Festival & Ice Cream Social
The Delaware County Historical Society (DCHS) announces that tickets are on sale for the 2023 Stratford Festival & Ice Cream Social to be held on Sunday, August 27, at The Barn at Stratford (2690 Stratford Rd, Delaware).
The family-friendly event will begin at 1:00 PM and feature live music, demonstrations, reenactors, storytelling, kids’ games and activities and tours of the property, which include the Meeker House Museum, The Barn and the Millworkers Cottage.
“We’re excited to welcome the community to enjoy the beautiful Stratford property with friends, family and other history lovers,” said Donna Meyer, DCHS Executive Director. “We’re delighted to have musical guests Steve Ball and The Ohio Heartland Chorus joining us, along with reenactor Jon Powers as Hosea Williams, the founder of Stratford. With games and activities for kids and, of course, ice cream, we can’t think of a better way to wrap up the summer.”
